BOARD OF DIRECTORS
THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS HAVE backgrounds that greatly lend themselves to craftsmanship required to properly process concrete. They are rooted in the craft of stone restoration, where they brought the precision and tight tolerances of stone restoration and refinishing to the art of Concrete Processing through technical Mechanical Grinding, Honing and Polishing. They are in the field everyday, working directly with clients as a contractor where they develop their knowledge and experience.
Jim Cuviello has been in the stone restoration business since 1996 and the Concrete Polishing industry since 2002. Jim brings the methodology and technicalities of mechanical polishing stone to concrete. He has written articles for trade magazines and participates regularly in industry forums. Jim holds a Bachelor of Science in Liberal Arts with minors in Marketing and Communication. He currently owns Cuviello Concrete Polishing and Staining (www.concrete-medic.com) Jim is currently preparing to become LEED AP certified.
Pete Cosgrove has been mastering the art of polishing concrete since 2004. He brings the methodology of mechanical polishing stone to concrete. Pete has been instrumental in developing techniques to overcome the multiple variables a contractor is present with when practicing the art of Concrete Polishing. He is the Director of Operations for Cuviello Concrete Polishing and Staining (www.concrete-medic.com).
James Stephens comes to us with a previous back ground in Marble and Stone restoration. It is here that James has honed his skills in natural polishing techniques which are used in concrete polishing as well. He is a regular contributor and has participated and been a moderator on numerous forums. He became interested in the concrete industry after meeting Jim Cuviello at an advanced stone restoration seminar in 2003. James later assisted Jim Cuviello on a large saw-cut, color and polish job in Maryland and he has been practicing his trade in San Jose, CA ever since. He has a B.A. in Business Administration with an emphasis on marketing and currently owns and runs Heavenly Touch Stone Care (www.heavenlytouchstonecare.com)
Craig Walton comes to us with a 25 year background in electrical and mechanical motor and motor controls experience. His background in power quality has helped improve the quality and performance of electrical grinding equipment he uses. Starting his own business in 2001 he found interest in the Stone Restoration business, especially in the polishing aspect. Craig attended an advanced stone restoration seminar in 2003, where he met James Stephens of Heavenly Touch Stone Care. They have collaborated and worked together on several concrete polishing projects, helping each other to improve their crafts. Craig is practicing his trade in Boise Idaho and runs Diamond Concrete Polishing (www.DCPolish.com), specializing in highly refined polished concrete.
